Today marks the 'last blast' of summer.
Tomorrow, students are back to school
(Those who aren't already),
Those with jobs are back to work
After a lovely long weekend
Where the weather held out nicely
(In Ottawa anyway),
And Ari starts his brand-new job -
The one we move across-province for -
While I look for a new teaching gig.
As longtime students,
And with me as a teacher now,
Labour Day has always sort of been our
'New Year's Eve',
And this year is no exception.
Happy Back to School,
Happy Back to Work,
Happy Fall, everyone!
