101 Things Redux (ish)

So anyone who's been following my blog recalls awhile back that I started a '101 Things in 101 Days' project that I ... I won't say I failed, as I accomplished a goodly number of things on that list - more than I would have if I hadn't written it all down. But Little Tyke becoming more mobile and more easily bored, as well as preparing to move, all conspired to get in the way of completing the list. Especially when I realized it was supposed to be 101 things in 1001 days. Crucial zero left out there.

So ... I've decided to restart, however, with a different theme; I've rediscovered my love of reading this summer, both through getting into a few new books that really caught my interest, and through checking out a book called "Beowulf on the Beach", which put me in mind of several classics, modern and otherwise, I wanted to familiarize myself with. So on that note, I introduce you to 101 BOOKS in 1001 DAYS. Doing math, this gives me 10 days a book; some will take longer I have no doubt, others will be shorter; the Southern Vampire Mysteries are 200 pages apiece of easy reading, for example. So please, follow along with me on my reading journey as I begin ... today. It will end on Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
